AUGUST 2012 – Summer’s End

August  2012

Thank you for checking out my monthly horoscopes! For right now I’m only doing them for each month, so pay attention and mark your calendars of the specific days I mention!

To be forewarned is to be forearmed ~ Don’t go out into the cold, cruel world without the guidance of my transits …. Why try to have a meeting where you need a positive decision if the Astro suggests only resistance to ideas that day, for example?

GENERAL OVERVIEW

August 2012 is overwhelmingly more positive, than negative. We have a few very benefic Trines, and only one really stressful Square.

The first half of the month is fab for forwarding your interests and furthering your aims! WE begin it with a FULL MOON IN AQUARIUS (the future, aspirations, forward-thinking and idealism among folks that is shared, not fought about).

Once the MERC RETRO ends on the 8^th of this month (but not completely back to normal until the 11^th), things will get much lighter and more productive for us all.

We’re going to see some stressful times right, smack in the middle of August, however, with POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS SQUARES on the 13^TH, 14^TH AND 15^TH!! These are the times to be EXTRA CAREFUL DRIVING … don’t ARGUE – especially with those you don’t know very well; and when all of our carefully laid plans can be kicked to the curb if we KNEE-JERK REACT, instead of realizing that …this, too … shall pass…. Life returns to its normal craziness on the 16^th.

We’ve got a few stop and go moments the rest of the month, then it ends with BLUE, FULL MOON IN PISCES on the 31^st. Just stay cool throughout stressful times and let your inner voice guide you.

 

 BEST DAYS … and NOT SO BEST DAYS!!!

When you need to achieve a positive result for something you’re doing or attempting, try to get that meeting, schedule that appointment or interview for the following days:

 

August  1, 2, 6, 8, 22, 25, 26, 29+.

 

Just as there is no light without a dark, the following days are those days to lay low, do something relaxing, not fight or argue, and certainly not schedule any important meetings or appointments if you can help it.

Chances to meld biz with pleasure are what this month is all about for the Rams!

First, you may have to tie up some loose ends with internet affairs, companies or services. If you’ve been having difficulty meshing work with your personal life, you’re hitting a period where they can blend together seamlessly and seemingly without effort.

In this case, one + one will equal TWO and a chance at happiness will be the result.

You can feel it, Bulls – work is going to start picking up soon. You’re already getting the wanderlust and longing for a break. My advice? Try to get in as many weekend jaunts as you can, or just go on vacation already. Soon you may not be able to as the work obligations begin to pour in!

Work and Home, and the issues of conflict between the two are still creating issues this month (or maybe it’s your fun, internet activities or associations that are hitting your packets hard?) – Stick closer to home interests and there won’t be so much drama – a professional coup for you is also at hand!

While you may be facing some challenge or disputes this month, if you’ve had your mind on exotic locales (or people), this month may see you making that long awaited progress. Remember that things take nurturing and time. At month’s end, you could see yourself relocating, taking a holiday or, even, going back to school!

 

 You can wrap up a professional objective successfully this month, Virgins. But watch out for a power struggle around mid-month. Compromise is the key! Hopefully, this turn of events is warranted as there may be a commitment in romance for you as the Summer wraps.

Fall back on your work ethic to accomplish your goals this month, Lion. You’re going to have to pull out your best negotiating skills, as well. Don’t fret, you’ve got a great team backing you and strong Leonine luck on your side. You’ve got the green light to go for your goals!

There could be stuff going on at home that has your spouse or partner upset. Try to get these issues resolved as soon as possible so you can enjoy the beneficial aspects of this last month of Summer. Be thankful for the areas of your life that are improving – because your life IS improving.  You’re able to accomplish your work, money and home goals this month. Just keep your eye on the biggest, possible picture and take baby steps toward it!

Okay, don’t let your projects, networking ambitions or hangers-on to cause you to neglect your loved ones this last month of Summer, Scorp! You may have to do some fancy flatter-work, but you can make amends and achieve your goals, too. Always do the right thing for those that do for you, first – and your dream will be realized.

 

You can hit the Trifecta this month, Archers .. Success in work, money goals and even at home. It must be an exciting, if not stressful time, for you. Network, get involved, be fun! Try to recognize when yo’ure feeling overwhelmed – take a break and do something rejuvenating then. All your balls can stay successfully in the air.

You’re making strides toward your professional goals this month, Goats! Lately, you may have had to endure some tough truths about work and how you appear to others – but  you’re still able to get people to see your point of view. Keep at it, soon the way to your goals will appear.

 

Your money goals are within reach toward the end of the month. Of course, now you’re also struggling to get work done because you’re enjoying cultural, relocation or holiday, academic interests or being in the spotlight somehow! You’ve got lots of good practical mojo behind you though, so just be aware of this and try to balance your days for the most benefit.

 

Now’s a good time to make a push for your work or money dreams, Fishies! If you’ve got any lingering inhibitions that are preventing you from embracing a new way of life or moving forward, suck it up and just change already – once you face your fears and take the step, the path will appear beneath your feet.

An Explosive July!

Are you going to be a FIRECRACKER? Or .. just FIZZLE OUT?!

GENERAL OVERVIEW

It’s all up to you, Angsters, this month you can choose to allow the sky to be the limit, or  fly under the radar and have all you’ve worked so hard for until now dissolve before your eyes. (Gee, guess there really *isn’t* a choice in there, huh?)

We’re going to start out the month, and our holiday celebrations, with a FULL MOON in CAPRICORN on the 3rd.

As I’ve said, NEW MOONS are when you want to begin things and FULL MOONS are culmnative – so you want to be wrapping things up. We have had a SERIOUS set of Squares dogging our progress this last few weeks – and revists will continue (see your indivudual sign notes for more on where in life these may be affecting you); but there’s lots of good news, too. Like MARS going Direct after being retrograde for what seemed like eons! This means that situations will begin to move forward again (as Mars rules action and initiative); and, that we’re going to want more to actually get out of bed in the morning to take the action to see our dreams and plans come to fruition. VENUS has also been retrograde and she moved forward last week. So money and love issues will soon become more inspiring and hopeful, as well.

Toward the SECOND HALF of July (particularly the middle of the month), we’re going to see yet another MERCURY RETROGRADE until August 8th. Get your fannies in gear before then because you never want to start anything new during a Merc Retro. In fact, during that period is a good time to revist and rework projects already in progress or correct old thought patterns, behaviors and plans so they all move forward more smoothly when the retrograde period ends.

BEST DAYS IN JULY

When you need to achieve a positive result for something you’re doing or attempting, try to get that meeting, schedule that appointment or interview for the following days:

The days surrounding the 4th, as well as the 5th … the 15th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 24th, 28th and the 30th.

Just as there is no Yin without a Yang, the following days are those DAYS TO LAY LOW, do something relaxing, not fight or argue, and certainly not schedule any important meetings or appointments if you can help it.

July 3rd, the 11th, the days surrounding the 17th and 18th, as well as the 26th and 27th.

Okay, it’s all about the partnerships ….

It could be a bloody mess between you and a partner this month, Ram … whether personal or professional. However, it’s up to you. All we can ever control is our reactions to things. DO NOT be your usual impulsive self – Absorb what’s going on, make rational reactive choices; or risk it all. It’s not all that bad though …really. If you take my advice above, you’ll find yourself pondering more creative ways to kiss and make-up, rather than win.

The second half of the month is all about playtime – take a holiday with that special someone if you haven’t been hasty the 1st through the 15th.

REMEMBER THIS: Would you rather be right … or be happy?

 

It’s all about the drama …

From red tape to simple conversations, even drama will be making life a little stressful in the beginning of the month for you in both work and home life. Read Aries’ advice and just take a breath and think more about how you’re reacting than the issue itself.

By the second half of the month you’re back on track and absolutely decimating your “to do” lists both a the office and in the bedroom …

REMEMBER THIS: Patience is truly a virtue. Do the above and a sense of accomplishment that’s huge can be yours by August 1st.

It’s all about opportunity …

The entire month is filled with F-U-N! Just be careful that you don’t burn the candle at both ends and burn yourself out so much that you overlook a truly valuable option.

It’s all about balancing your hemispheres …

This month, as the Full Moon in your opposite sign on the 3rd sheds light on your lack of balance between work and home, you’re facing serious disapproval from your intimate partner. You’re making choices that are throwing your life in disarray and causing a lack of balance.

By the second half of the month – if you’ve remained cool and unselfish in your motives, you’ll reap some financial benefits for being your two worlds back into alighnment.

Well, how is THAT for the opener to a monthly forecast!

With Mercury going Retro the middle of the month, however, do what you can to streamline everything so it runs smoothly, now. In other words, if you drop the ball, you have no one to blame if you don’t do your due diligience beforehand.

You’ve worked hard the past couple months, take a break, but keep the lines of work communication going so you don’t miss a reward; and, keep the brilliance flowing, too …

Just as I advised Sag, above, now isn’t the time for you to go on holiday! You’ve got KICKIN’ productivity vibes happening all month. Especially if you work from home, or in an industry that is somehow related to long distance communiques, this may the payoff month you’ve been waiting for.

REMEMBER THIS: This month, you’ll equal profit to your input.

 

It’s all about day to day stuff …

Just because life will be chugging along as it’s been, the good bits of what’s been, I mean; there’s plenty of fun to be found, as well. It is Summer and you’re encouraged to enjoy it. Keep in mind the Retro if making any plans – and now is the month to start planning your actual vacay when the time comes.

MONDAY, June 11th – CAUTIONS

 

Hey everyone!

I thought I’d post today to give you all a heads up about tomorrow’s not-so-great aspects. To be forewarned is to be forearmed.

We’ve got a bunch of oddly stressful alignments going on so, listen up!

The day starts off with a SQUARE and that is the argumentative marker we continue under, as the moon is VOID OF COURSE (That means it isn’t making any aspects to any other planets at all) until around Midnight.

Our intuition is off and we can’t trust our own decision making process at this time – Yes, none of us. Also, arguments, accidents and nutty weather are just some of the possibles, too. Seriously, if you can stay under the covers or just hang out doing busywork, today would be the time to do it.

Remember that Venus is retrograde until June 27th (Sucks, but any relationship or money issues are going to crop up for revision and resolution until then – do it though. Find a way to compromise and make new plans in these areas work for you because after the 27th it will take off bigger and better than you ever hoped). DO NOT MAKE ANY PERMANENT DECISIONS NOW because it’s VERY likely you’re getting the wrong end of the message stick, misinterpreting; and, depending on your personal astrology, having a rough time in general just getting up in the morning.

AFTER THE 27TH YOU’LL HAVE CLARITY AND BREATHE A SIGH OF RELIEF IN THESE TWO AREAS OF LIFE.

But, back to tomorrow …

Lastly, the communications planet Mercury OPPOSES planet of transformation and destiny, PLUTO, in the evening.

Here’s my advice: Postpone your plans, save the important stuff for Tuesday and beyond.

June 2012 – Disaster … or Destiny?

GENERAL OVERVIEW

I wish I could tell you all that the rollercoaster ride would be over in June. I can tell you that we’re nearly at the end of a several month ride of retrogrades, eclipses, squares and, generally, aspects that are designed specifically to break you out of your ruts and move you forward. Unfortunately, we humans prefer the familiar and the comfortable. We won’t change or alter the way we think unless forced by some circumstance to do so. This is why the aspects have been so hard on us all, because most of us would rather bury our heads in the sand and keep the status quo, than grow into a happier form of being.

The first half of the month is decent. Here’s where you want to get the most done you can and get your ducks in a row for the spectacular star battle in the sky at the end of the month.

When you need to achieve a positive result for something you’re doing or attempting, try to get that meeting, schedule that appointment or interview for the following days:

June 1^st,  3^rd , 8^th  (this is the best day), 15^th  or 22^nd.

June 4^th  (we’ve got a full moon and another eclipse today! Also, squares are running amok and creating havoc – be extra vigilant ), 7^th, 11^th, 20^th, 23^rd, 24^th & 25^th (the last of the powerful squares come exact these two days! Be extra careful!); and, the 29^th.

Let me guess, Aries … you’ve been physically feeling like hell.

Well, there’s a reason for that and it is to bring to your attention the need to better balance your work, home and personal life;  All culminating with the rare full moon eclipse on the 4th.  Take the time now to address your health and balance issues and you’ll have a better Summer.

 

So, there’s been a bunch on internal, core issues cropping up for you lately, eh, Bull? Well, don’t sweat it. After the 4^th you should find some measure of solidity to your beliefs – especially about the material world you’re working to create. Think about what you really value ~ and go from there.

Now take it easy, Gem, all eyes are on you during these wacky aspects at the beginning of June. I surmise you’ve got issues going on with a parent or relating to some past event that you can’t shake, but it’s all because you’re meant to have a perception shift about what’s going on. Let it happen – you’ll be glad you did.

Not too terribly bad, Crab – You’ve got some disruptions and upheaval going on in your life, perhaps the addition of someone new or more obligations, but they serve a purpose. When all is said and done, you’ll find a more relaxing schedule in its place.

I get that you’re having  money worries, Leo – issues about your self-worth in relation to your money making; and/or the usual emotional disruptions, may all be highlighted as the Summer months begins. But, if you stay strong and patient, things will sort themselves out and resolutions will follow.

Well, you’re certainly not going to remain a virgin to stress this week! It’s likely going to hit you hard, but you WILL survive it. Trust me.  Use every ounce of tension to force yourself to seek understanding about what and why it triggers you. Then, you’ll find a new way of doing things that will be much easier for you in the long run.

Ah, my fellow Librans, though more protected than most from the chaos of Summer’s beginning, you’re just going to have to accept the changes being forced on you because they ARE designed to put you firmly on future’s path to success. You’re your own worst enemy. Refusal to change and adapt is what causes us pain in this life … nothing more. Go with Saturn’s guidance of the last 2 and half years. He’s gone in October – and if you haven’t learned your lessons, done your work and accepted the you that you’ve been given to grow into, the bountiful rewards that await will slip right through your fingers.

Can you feel it in your stinger, Scorp? Deep, lasting and profound change is coming for you. This is just the beginning. Starting in October, Saturn is going to visit you for a couple of years. There will be NO avoiding the changes, then. Do yourself a favor – hop on the growth train …now.

 

 Okay, Archers, aim your arrows to straightening out the relationships in your life because they are there to support you as you mend deep issues with personal commitment to satisfaction and steadfast adherence to your goals. You can get it right this time – if you do the work and stick it out.

 

For once in your life, Goats, don’t be so damn stubborn. Just because you were raised to believe something is true, doesn’t make it so. Also, just because you’ve had one experience a certain way, doesn’t mean that is how it will always go. It’s time to reassess your values and what you live by. Accept any conflict as a chance to examine your belief system and update it.

 

It is important now for you water-bearers to remember that you cannot fill your cup if it’s already full. In other words, dump the old and the baggage and the past and allow your cup to fill with wonders that await you of you embrace your future. Sadly, disruption and upheaval usually precede this, but if you’re aware that it’s all intended to empty your cup of what no longer tastes sweet so you can fill it with what’s being offered, you’ll get through it.

 

Pisces, for such a sensitive sign you really can be a pain in the ass. Honestly. See the forest for the trees. The conflict and inner struggle you’re facing in your relationships now is designed to help you get rid of those false beliefs about love, commitment and your own self-worth – so you can heal and accept the true love that’s around you. Get out of your own way.
